VocalSource Announces Partnership with A Cappella Records We're extremely excited to announce our exclusive partnership with A Cappella Records (ACR), a new digital record label set to revolutionize vocal music sales across the world!
Through A Cappella Records, your fans can now be a single click away from downloading your group's music on iTunes. By bundling marketing resources--a cappella radio, charting, and their unique flash music player, your group will enjoy unprecedented exposure to the international music community. By partnering with ACR, VocalSource is able to offer our clients unique advantages and privileges: I. Priority Processing VocalSource clients' albums will be given priority over other albums waiting to be processed and sent to iTunes. At our clients' request, albums (or single songs) can be uploaded to the ACR site by VocalSource as soon as they are finished, in advance of (or in coordination with) the release of any physical albums. Songs can also be released on an "as-finished" or promotional basis; there's no need to release an entire album if you don't wish to. VocalSource will soon feature a custom ACR flash player on our website, and clients' music will be able to be purchased on the VocalSource website, as well as from the ACR website, and also from iTunes and Amazon MP3 directly. (VocalSource receives no money from ACR or from clients' sales). III. Discount ACR charges a $100 processing fee for all new albums--$50 for the aggregator and $50 for licensing. VocalSource clients receive a 100% discount on this fee for each new CD - it costs our clients nothing to put their music online! IV. Increased Web Presence VocalSource will have its own exclusive partner page on the ACR website, and VocalSource clients will have their music featured and available for purchase on this site as well.
